For our location in Ortenberg, we are looking for a full-time position as soon as possible
Assistant to the Plant Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Supporting plant management with operational, organisational and strategic tasks
- Independently planning, coordinating and managing projects aimed at further developing our production plant
- Analysing and optimising production processes, structures and workflows, as well as identifying and developing opportunities for improvement
- Coordinating and monitoring measures and projects across various departments, whilst ensuring deadlines are met and projects progress as planned
- Acting as a liaison between production and other departments, and coordinating collaboration with external partners and service providers
- Analysing key performance indicators and production data, preparing analyses and conducting plausibility checks, and deriving appropriate measures
- Preparing reports, presentations and decision-making documents for plant management, as well as organising and following up on meetings
- Supporting plant management with staff deployment planning
Your qualifications:
- Completed degree, e.g. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Production Engineering, Business Informatics or a comparable technical qualification
- Alternatively, technical vocational training with relevant further training and professional experience
- Several years’ professional experience in technical project management, a production environment, process management or quality assurance/quality management is desirable
- Experience in project coordination and project management
- Strong technical understanding and an interest in production processes
- An analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- A high degree of initiative, independence and a sense of responsibility
- Strong communication skills and a confident manner when dealing with a variety of contacts
- Ability to work well in a team and take a solution-oriented approach
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Very good command of German and a good command of written and spoken English
