Technical Sales Representative / Key Account Manager Plastics Technology (m/f/d)‍

Your tasks:
  • Acquiring new customers, as well as managing and strategically developing key accounts
  • Responsibility for forecast planning, and for sales, margin and revenue targets within your own client portfolio
  • Preparing and negotiating quotations, including developing project-specific pricing strategies
  • Ensuring clear order and contract terms during order processing
  • Maintaining CRM systems and carrying out reporting and market analyses
  • Providing technical advice on plastics solutions and assessing feasibility
  • Supporting the management and supervision of customer projects from enquiry through to series production
  • Central point of contact between the customer and project management

Your qualifications:
  • Completed technical training or a degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, design engineering)
  • Experience in technical sales, ideally in the field of plastic components
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes (e.g. vacuum forming, injection moulding, etc.)
  • Confident handling of technical drawings and a basic understanding of CAD, ideally with experience in component design
  • Knowledge of scheduling, production planning or supply chain management is desirable
  • Analytical thinking and an entrepreneurial approach
  • Structured and independent working style
  • Ideally, knowledge of CRM and ERP systems, preferably proALPHA
  • Good written and spoken German and English
